ABTA Protection
When booking cruise-only or land-based package holidays with Worldwide Cruises, you can book with confidence knowing your arrangements are protected through our ABTA membership (membership numbers P8773 and Y6846). ABTA protection means your non-flight travel arrangements are financially protected in the event of company failure, and you’ll also benefit from high standards of service, support, and dispute resolution.
ABTA stands for the Association of British Travel Agents, and all ABTA members must adhere to a strict Code of Conduct. This ensures that you receive accurate information, professional service, and access to a complaints and resolution process should any issues arise with your booking.
If your ABTA-protected travel company ceases trading, the protection ensures that you will either be refunded if you haven’t travelled yet, or assisted in completing your holiday if you are already abroad. ABTA also provides guidance and support throughout the booking process and during your trip should anything go wrong.
Many holidays that do not include flights are financially protected by ABTA. However, ABTA protection does not apply to all types of bookings. For example, if you book a flight-inclusive holiday, this would be protected under the ATOL scheme instead. Please refer to your confirmation invoice or ask us to clarify what protection applies to your booking.
